Partnership with USD422
High school students enrolled in Computer Applications courses at our local high school receive quality education from experienced instructors and exposure to the industry of video production and broadcasting.
Class Field Trips
The great partnership between the Media Center and USD422 is not an exclusive one. We invite regional schools to visit our facilities in Greensburg to give students exposure to the multimedia industry. Students receive training on equipment and learn about Adobe software used by professionals. Our goal for their visit is to help schools find more ways that they can use technology more effectively for school or community use.
Video Club is an after school program open to ages 6th-12th grade in the region lead by Creative Director, Grant Neuhold. The club dedicates time to learning techniques and programs used for creating high quality productions. Members of video club are also a significant part of the broadcast team during live productions.
Educating a Community
We all know knowledge is power and we all know how powerful the media is. So imagine a community that is well educated in the use of multimedia technologies and ways to have a voice in this ever changing landscape of communication. That is what we do at the Media Center.
